Job summary

Nesco Resource, LLC is hiring a Valve Assembler in North Huntingdon, PA. The role builds and prepares valve products, following drawings and procedures to ensure on-time shipping. Starting wage is $18.45+ per hour, with a 4-day work week schedule and shift from 5am to 3:30pm.

You will tool up work orders, assemble and test air-actuated valves, maintain a clean, safe work area, and strive to meet production and quality standards. Prior manufacturing or valve experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude with comfort using hand tools and equipment.
• Experience reading and following work instructions and specs.
• Willingness to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities.
• Previous manufacturing or valve assembly experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Prepare and tool up individual work orders to meet customer ship dates, including washing parts as needed and issuing parts to work orders.
• Assemble and air test standard valves according to established procedures and quality requirements.
• Assemble and adjust air-actuated valves.
• Interpret and follow assembly drawings, work instructions and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe assembly cell by following 5S principles.
• Operate the parts wash system as required.
• Consistently meet established production and quality standards.
• Perform work in accordance with productivity, utilization, scrap and rework standards and goals.

Job Requirements
