Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Kentwood, MI is partnering with manufacturers to recruit a seasoned Value Stream Manager. You will lead lean initiatives, map value streams, and drive continuous improvement to improve flow and reduce waste across cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, 5+ years in manufacturing operations with leadership experience, and proven Lean/Six Sigma expertise. ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and value stream mapping.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and optimize value streams to eliminate waste and improve flow.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify and resolve root causes of process inefficiencies.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for value stream health and performance.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Foster a culture of problem-solving, accountability, and continuous learning within the value stream.
• Manage resource allocation and prioritize projects to achieve value stream objectives.
• Report on value stream performance and progress to senior leadership.
