Job summary

GE Vernova's Steam Turbine division invites a Co-op student to join the Value Engineering team, supporting D600 and D650 platforms and initiatives that drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and capacity improvements.

You will work with product managers, senior engineers and cross‑functional teams on analyses, cost tracking, business cases, scheduling, and reporting, gaining hands‑on project experience and exposure to manufacturing and supply chain decisions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a mechanical/industrial/manufacturing related field.
• Minimum sophomore standing with at least one term remaining.
• Interest in engineering, manufacturing, product management, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Support Value Engineering initiatives focused on Steam Turbines (D600/D650) and capacity expansion projects.
• Assist with analyses, design reviews, documentation, and implementation activities for standard steam turbine products.
• Track schedules, milestones, risks, action items, and value realization metrics for VE projects.
• Support cost tracking and reporting for engineering and manufacturing improvements.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data to support business cases and decisions.
