Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a Material Logistics Manager Value Creation Specialist to identify and implement strategies that boost efficiency and profitability across manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Job description

The Material Logistics Manager Value Creation Specialists will play a key role in identifying, developing, and implementing strategies that enhance organizational efficiency and drive profitability. This position requires strategic thinking with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to address operational challenges proactively and implement solutions to enhance overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Opportunity Identification: Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and potential value creation while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategy Development: Develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve profitability collaborating with different departments to align initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects aimed at implementing value creation strategies, ensuring on time completion, within budget, and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics strategies to evaluate performance metrics and assess the impact of initiatives generating clear reports to communicate findings and recommendations to the stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for value creation initiatives. Facilitate workshops and meetings to engage teams and gather insights.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of value creation initiatives and drive continuous improvement. Refine strategies based on performance data.
  • Training and Development: Educate team members on value creation methodologies and best practices. Foster a culture of accountability and continues improvement within the team.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Public Speaking Skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 18 Months Experience in prior Manufacturing or Supervisory role
  • Previous experience working in a union environment
  • Ability to demonstrate lean manufacturing knowledge and application
