Job summary

Akido Labs, Inc. is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join a physician-led medical group delivering high-value, outpatient care. You will care for a diverse patient population, work with a collaborative team, and leverage modern care models and technology to improve outcomes.

You will see 16–20 patients per day in a fully outpatient setting, provide comprehensive care across the lifespan, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Active Rhode Island licensure is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school (required).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (required).
• Active RI license or eligibility to obtain one (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan.
• See 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and care teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
• Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
• Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records.
• Incorporate in-office procedures based on experience and interest (optional).
• Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available).
• Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment.
