Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a Quality Program Specialist to support system-wide value-based care initiatives, including bundled payments and shared savings. You will work with clinicians, operations, and analytics to monitor performance, close care gaps, and deliver timely reports.

Reporting to senior leaders, this role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, standardized workflows, and action-oriented insights to improve patient outcomes and contract performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in business, health administration, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare quality, population health, or value-based care experience.
Familiarity with EMR reporting tools (Epic) and understanding of HCC coding.
Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Program Management - Bundled Payments: support implementation and ongoing management across service lines.
Shared Savings Contract Support: track performance and translate metrics into actionable plans.
Clinical Gap Closure: lead initiatives for improving quality measures and care gaps.
Data Analysis & Reporting: analyze trends and prepare executive-level summaries.
Clinical & Operational Engagement: liaise between quality, operations, and clinical teams.
Process Improvement & Standardization: develop SOPs and standard workflows; collaborate with IT.
