Creekstone Farms Premium Beef is seeking a Value Added Production worker to join our production line team. The role focuses on de-boning, trimming, and cutting beef to customer specifications while modeling Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions.

The position involves using knives, hooks, and possibly powered equipment in a cold, damp environment, and requires fast, physical work with the flexibility to assist in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, fabricate and package beef products on a production line.
• Bone out, trim beef pieces using knife, hook, or powered equipment (saws, wizard knives, mechanical skinner).
• Work environment is cold and damp (<45°F).
• Fast paced and physically demanding position.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Value Added Production worker will work directly on a production line to ensure a product is de-boned, trimmed or cut to customer specifications. They will be responsible for being an example to other team members using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions.

Essential Functions

• Position requires individual to cut, trim, fabricate and package beef products in a production line setting.
• Processing will involve use of a knife and hook to bone out or trim large pieces of product or may involve the use of powered equipment such as saws or wizard knives, and mechanical skinner.
• Work environment is cold and damp with temperatures of less than 45 degrees.
• It is a fast paced and physically demanding position
• Assist in other areas as needed
• All other duties as assigned
