Overview

House Buyers of America is looking for a 100% remote Valuations Analyst (VA) who will be responsible for valuing prospective deals and determining a scope of work for properties we acquire. The VA must be able to determine a reliable estimate of market value for prospective deals to be used by House Buyers of America in determining whether to acquire a residential property. In addition to acquisitions, the VA must also be able to determine a reliable pricing strategy to sell properties that have been acquired by House Buyers.

What you will be doing

• Determine the pricing strategy to maximize ROI for all properties we acquire and determine the turnaround times for dispositions.
• Partner with the Sales and Construction Departments regarding pricing decisions, budget, and the scope of work for the overall construction strategy.
• Value properties across the entire US and ensure the accuracy of all valuations.
• Meet turnaround objectives for all valuations and ensure properties do not sit too long on the market.
• Handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Perform other duties as necessary to help the company meet its goals.

About You

• Minimum of 3 years experience required in residential property valuations/underwriting.
• Appraisal license or completed all appraisal coursework (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new technology.
