Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Valuation Specialist in a hybrid role based out of the local office. You will focus on producing thorough valuation reports, fostering client relationships, and delivering strong solutions for clients while representing the Colliers brand in the market.

Requirements include 2–3 years CRE valuation experience, active or pursuing CG Real Estate Appraiser license, a bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of CRE-related experience or background is required.
  • Active CG Real Estate Appraiser license or actively pursuing it.
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced appraisal coursework preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Execute valuation and appraisal assignments.
  • Communicate with clients to develop and deepen relationships; originate new client relationships when possible.
  • Collaborate with team members across geographies to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Review industry surveys, benchmarks, and economic/demographic trends.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting analysis results clearly and concisely.

As Valuation Specialist, you will be focused on producing thorough reports, fostering relationships, and finding strong solutions for clients. Each day, you will promote and advocate for the Colliers' brand in the market, articulating our value to clients through superior customer service.

In this role, you will...
  • Execute valuation and appraisal assignments
  • Communicate with clients to foster new and existing client relationships. Demonstrate an ability to originate new client relationships.
  • Collaborate with other team members across geographies to deliver exceptional client service and results.
  • Review industry surveys and benchmarks, as well as economic and demographic trends.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis clearly and concisely.
What you'll bring
  • 2-3 years of related work experience. CRE experience/ background is required.
  • Active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license or pursuing this.
  • Bachelor's degree. Advanced appraisal class curriculum completion preferred.
  • Team player mentality with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Salary

Colliers carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience required for this role. The candidate's pay is 100% commission - typically participating in a 35-50% commission split based on production levels. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience required for this role.

Benefits

Employees (and their families) are provided options for employer subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental, vision as well as employer paid basic life/AD&D insurance and short-term / long-term disability. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave, along with up to 4-12 weeks of paid parental leave depending on eligibility criteria. Individuals may be eligible for different or additional benefits under applicable law.

Bonus

This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
