Job summary

Andersen in New York is seeking a Valuation Intern to join our Tax, Valuation, and Business Advisory practice. You will contribute to valuation engagements across industries and assets under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities include assisting on engagements, seeking feedback, and collaborating with teams while exercising professional skepticism in a fast-paced environment. This internship provides exposure to tax reporting, financial analysis, and M&A considerations,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other field that would provide a strong background for qualitative and quantitative reasoning.
• Eligible students should be in their 3rd year of a 4-year degree program or in their 4th year of a 5-year degree program. Interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0; Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills; Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with and participating in select phases of valuation engagements.
• Proactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback.
• Supporting and assisting with select projects demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative while working as a team member.
