Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Managing Director for its VTA practice, based in our New York office. The role focuses on complex valuation, financial statement analysis, and GAAP accounting with exposure to expert testimony. You will collaborate with senior consultants and testifying experts on engagements across diverse industries.

The position requires 10+ years in Big-4 or equivalent, CPA or progress towards, and willingness to travel. MS or advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Expert witness testimony exposure in valuation and solvency matters.
• Experience evaluating transactions (M&A, contracts, financing, JVs).
• Strong report writing and complex financial/ accounting analyses.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical financial information and cash flow projections.
• Perform GL and trial balance analyses and reconstruct books and records.
• Research accounting standards under GAAP/IFRS and advise on issues.
• Develop valuation models and financial analyses.
• Review large document productions and prepare reports and presentations.
