Job summary

CAEtech Inc. seeks Validation Test Technicians to perform validation testing in an advanced automotive technology setting in Carmel, Indiana. Multiple second-shift roles start around 4:00–4:30 PM and require precise test setup and data collection using OEM specifications.

You will collaborate with Test and Validation Engineering to ensure product compliance across multiple product lines before market release, while maintaining safety and process discipline in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Currently working toward an Associate's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline including EE/EET, ME/MET, Electronics, Automotive Technology, Materials or Chemistry.
• Experience in a product test laboratory environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute validation testing according to established test plans and OEM specifications.
• Perform accurate test setup, operation and data collection.
• Maintain responsibility for product testing throughout the test lifecycle.
• Prepare accurate test results and reports.
• Communicate test status and results to Test Engineering for review, approval and notification.
• Work directly with product engineers to help ensure product compliance.
• Maintain open communication with Validation Engineering regarding product performance.
• Follow established processes and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adjust working hours or shift schedules when required to meet customer testing requirements.

CAEtech is seeking Validation Test Technicians to support product testing within an advanced automotive technology environment in Carmel, Indiana. Multiple positions are available on second shift, beginning approximately 4:00-4:30 PM. This position is responsible for executing validation testing according to established test plans and OEM specifications, including accurate test setup, data collection and test reporting.

The technician will work closely with Test Engineering, Validation Engineering and product engineers while supporting products from multiple product lines before they go to market.
