Akkodis is seeking a Validation Technician for a four-month contract in Palo Alto, CA onsite. This role centers on hardware validation for automotive electronics and requires a strong hands-on background in a lab setting.

You will operate and troubleshoot lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and power analysers; perform PCB soldering and rework; and build or modify automated test equipment (ATE).

Formación

• 7+ years building automated test equipment (ATE) or industrial automation systems.
• Strong hands-on electrical testing experience.
• Soldering and PCB/circuit-board rework.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Power-tool experience.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on lab environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hardware validation and testing for automotive electronics.
• Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and power analysers.
• Control test equipment through software interfaces.

• Perform electrical and environmental testing.
• Set up and calibrate thermal chambers.
• Troubleshoot equipment, wiring/harnesses, and hardware failures.
• Perform PCB soldering, de-soldering, component rework, and modifications.
• Read electrical schematics, drawings, and datasheets.
• Support installation, commissioning, and deployment of new test systems.
• Document test results, failures, and root causes in Jira.
• Handle/move test equipment and instrumentation.

Akkodis is seeking a Validation Technician for 04 month Contract job with a client in Palo Alto, CA 94304 (Onsite). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Automobile industry are a must.

Pay Range: $35- $45/hr on W2, all-inclusive (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Schedule: M-F 8-5/9-6 (1-hour non-billable lunch) with some OT depending on business needs (at least 40 hours each week, with OT up to about 45 hours total)

Top 3 Must-Haves

1. Electrical lab equipment: Oscilloscope, power supply, DMM, power analyser.

2. Basic coding: Python preferred; ability to understand/use basic code.

3. Jira: Hands-on experience tracking testing, issues, and failures.
