Job summary

Abbott in Madison, WI is seeking a Validation Associate III in the Cancer Diagnostics group. The role involves leading and performing validation activities for computer systems, equipment, and processes, ensuring compliant documentation and traceability.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to support design transfer and continuous improvement projects, and you may travel to other Madison locations up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field; 3+ years of validation experience.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques and GMP environments.
• Strong documentation and ability to generate validation plans and reports.
• Proficient MS Excel/Word for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Author validation plans, protocols, and summary reports for computer systems, processes, equipment, test methods, and cleaning processes.
• Execute validation or qualification protocols for equipment, facilities, cleaning, and/or process and test method validations as needed.
• Prepare executed validation binders, including attachments and supporting data.
• Serve as reviewer or approver for documents (protocols and summary reports) prepared by other team members.
• Assist operators in understanding and documenting validation execution by being present during validation activities.
• Lead validation projects cross-functionally with other departments.
