As a Validation Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting cutting-edge server technology. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Validation Engineer

Location: Austin, TX

What's the Job?

• Execute feature enablement and validation test plans for High Speed IO such as PCIe, CXL, and USB across all Server products.
  
• Develop post-silicon validation infrastructure, including software, hardware, automation environment, and lab setup.
  
• Debug and drive root-cause analysis for SoC related issues.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tools that enhance SoC validation and debugging processes.
  
• Perform miscellaneous lab work, including CPU part socketing and minor board rework.

  • Experience with PC architecture and familiarity with server operating systems such as Windows Server, Ubuntu, and RedHat.
    
  • Must have CXL or PCIe experience.
    
  • Good debugging skills and familiarity with navigating and configuring systems via BIOS.
    
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as C/C++, Python, or Perl.
    
  • Self-starting team player with strong verbal and written English communication skills.
