• Lead the validation of chassis functionality to minimize vehicle and suspension sensitivity to road forces, assembly build variations, vehicle architecture differences, and component wear.
• Optimize vehicle performance to meet program targets by minimizing sensitivity to brake rotor wear (judder), tire/wheel imbalance, vehicle lead/drift/pull, steering wander, torque steer, and vehicle shake/ride.
• Manage quality testing activities across all program development phases, including upfront design definition, prototype testing, and pre-production (pilot) build evaluations.
• Perform in-vehicle accelerometer measurements as dictated by quality standards, including vehicle instrumentation, signal processing, and data interpretation.
• Apply proactive and reactive engineering problem-solving techniques to resolve chassis performance and quality issues efficiently.
• Work independently and as part of a team across multiple project locations, communicating clear technical findings to internal teams and external engineering partners.

We are seeking a proactive Validation Engineer specializing in Vehicle Dynamics and Chassis Systems. You will oversee quality testing across all program phases—from upfront target setting through prototype and pre-production vehicle testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Dynamics & Quality Validation: Lead the validation of chassis functionality to minimize vehicle and suspension sensitivity to road forces, assembly build variations, vehicle architecture differences, and component wear.

• Vibration & Sensitivity Mitigation: Optimize vehicle performance to meet program targets by minimizing sensitivity to brake rotor wear (judder), tire/wheel imbalance, vehicle lead/drift/pull, steering wander, torque steer, and vehicle shake/ride.

• Full Lifecycle Testing: Manage quality testing activities across all program development phases, including upfront design definition, prototype testing, and pre-production (pilot) build evaluations.

• Data Acquisition & Analysis: Perform in-vehicle accelerometer measurements as dictated by quality standards, including vehicle instrumentation, signal processing, and data interpretation.
