Validation Analyst – Farmingdale NY (On-site)

Job Description:

• Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to ICON's values centered around People, Clients, and Performance.
• Contribute to a culture of process improvement, focusing on streamlining processes, adding value, and meeting client needs.
• Travel domestically and/or internationally (less than 5%).
• Follow directions from the Manager or Scientific Director of Global Validation.

Key Duties:

• Assist in preparing validation plans and reports, and perform results analysis.
• Prepare samples for validation studies, including accuracy, precision, correlation, or stability samples.
• Distribute or ship validation, correlation, or stability samples to facilities or collaborators.
• Coordinate validation studies to ensure timely completion.
• Import data into statistical analysis tools like EP evaluator.
• Maintain an up-to-date electronic library of validation experiments.
• Assist in assay validation experiments as needed.
• Perform manual procedures and operate automated instruments under supervision.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Medical Laboratory experience.
• Experience as a Medical Technologist, Biomedical Scientist, Lab Technician, or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and quality control.
• Experience working in clinical or research laboratories.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: $68,616.00 - $85,770.00

Compensation details depend on location, experience, education, and skills. Bonuses, stock options, and commissions may be available based on role and performance.
