Qualifications

  • Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers, and the surrounding community.
  • Actively participate in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members, and professionals.
  • Perform all duties with a positive attitude.
  • Operate a 7 to 14+ passenger vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure vehicles are always ready for transport, including safety checks, supplies, and updated resident emergency information.
  • Assist residents with entering and leaving the vehicle and with baggage as needed.
  • Enforce safety rules during travel.
  • Handle paperwork for appointments and deliver as required.
  • Transport residents to appointments, activities, and destinations.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and functionality, including fueling and minor repairs.
  • Attend required training sessions and orientations.
  • Respond to residents' requests and perform other duties as needed.
  • Assist in planning and organizing residence activities.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong driving skills and automobile servicing knowledge
    • Effective communication in English, both written and oral
    • Ability to lift, bend, and stretch frequently
    • Calmness and composure in emergency situations
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum three years of driving experience.
  • Licenses: Valid driver’s license in the state; no more than two moving violations in three years.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Dexterity, visual and auditory acuity
    • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
    • Ability to push, pull, walk, sit, stand, crouch, kneel, and reach as needed
