Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Parking Attendant to warmly welcome patients and visitors and to park and retrieve vehicles safely on-site. You will help keep driveways clear and coordinate with security when assistance is needed, supporting a smooth patient experience.

This on-site role requires a clean driving record and a high school diploma, with flexibility to assist in various parking areas as needed by hospital operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Possess a good driving record and maintain a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Parks and retrieves guests' vehicles in a safe manner to and from designated parking areas.
• Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors in a friendly manner.
• Ensures that the roads and driving areas are never blocked, requesting assistance from security if needed.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Sitting for up to four (4) hours per shift, 10 minutes at a time;
• standing for up to eight (8) hour/day, 50 minutes at a time.
• Occasionally handling and firm gripping when carries equipment.
• Occasionally fingering and twisting/turning.
• Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and walking with objects weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Frequent squatting and kneeling.
• Occasionally stooping, bending, crouching and reaching above shoulder level.
• Hearing as it relates to normal conversation.
• Seeing as it relates to general vision, color vision depth perception.

EDUCATION:

• High school graduate or equivalent.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• Possess a good driving record and maintain a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
