Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a parking attendant in Winston-Salem to provide a welcoming experience for guests, manage cash transactions, and ensure safe traffic flow in parking areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to drive a manual transmission. Shifts run 10:30pm–7am, 40 hours per week, with benefits eligible.

  • Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound basic math skills for processing payments and deposits.
  • Able to stand or walk for prolonged periods.

  • Complete all forms and documents correctly.
  • Collect payments and secure cash and keys if required.
  • Drives golf cart as requested.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Monday-Friday: 10:30pm-7am

Pay Range

$18.85 - $28.30

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or GED equivalent. Ability to drive manual transmission. Clean driving record for five years. Mathematical skills preferred. Level I Qualified Spanish Bilingual Staff (QBS) preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: Valid applicable state driver's license with no restrictions.

Essential Functions
  • Adheres to the Medical Center standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
  • Responsible for greeting guests with a helpful and caring attitude.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clear and safe area for pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
  • Completes all forms and documents correctly.
  • Collects payments and secures cash and keys if required.
  • Completes in a timely manner all Medical Center and Department training requirements.
  • Drives golf cart as requested.
  • Performs other duties as requested by management.
