Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a courteous Valet to greet patients and guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and assist with directions and wheelchairs as needed.

This full-time daytime role requires a clean driving record, NC license, ability to drive manual transmission, and strong customer service skills; Day 1 health coverage and generous PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to drive manual transmission.
• Clean driving record for five years.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a helpful and caring attitude.
• Maintain a clear and safe area for pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
• Complete all forms and documents correctly.
• Collect payments and secure cash and keys if required.
• Complete required Medical Center and Department trainings.
• Drive golf cart as requested.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

VALET

The Valet provides exceptional hospitality service to patients and guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. Responsible for parking and retrieving vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and assisting patients and guests with directions, getting in and out of vehicles and offering wheelchairs when necessary.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• Full Time, Days
• Located in Winston-Salem, NC
• Day 1 Health Coverage:Choose from either copay or HSA-eligible health insurance options with coverage starting on your first day of work.
• Generous PTO:Accrual starts at 25 days/year, to be used for vacations, sickness, holidays, and personal matters.

YOU'LL NEED

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Ability to drive manual transmission.
• Clean driving record for five years.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license with no restrictions.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Mathematical skills preferred.
• Level I Qualified Spanish Bilingual Staff (QBS) preferred.
