Job summary

The Dalmar, Fort Lauderdale, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, seeks a Valet Parker to greet guests on arrival and departure, park and retrieve vehicles, and uphold sustainability standards in every interaction.

Work in a dynamic guest‑service role, assist with luggage up to 75 lbs when needed, follow safety and OSHA guidelines, and contribute to a team that delivers memorable experiences through hospitality and care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Park guest vehicles and retrieve valet-parked vehicles in a timely, courteous manner.
• Use claim tickets to ensure appropriate delivery of vehicles.
• Read luggage tags and provide claim tickets to ensure proper delivery.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to EarthView.
• Follow MSDS and OSHA safety standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Focus

• Park guest vehicles and retrieve valet-parked guest vehicles in a timely and courteous manner; use claim tickets to ensure appropriate delivery of vehicles.
• Grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages, luggage or boxes up to 75 lbs. from cars, buses and vans, placing packages and luggage onto baggage carts or in a secure area for retrieval by bell staff.
• Read luggage tags and provide claim tickets to ensure appropriate delivery.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background And Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous related experience a plus.
