Ski Butlers in Aspen is hiring a seasonal Valet/In House Ski Technician to deliver ski/snowboard rentals to guests at their accommodations and work with The W Aspen hotel team to ensure seamless service.

The role offers a base wage of $22 per hour, with a ski pass provided on start date and a 401K plan with match for staff over 21. Open to full-time seasonal shifts beginning in November, with 32+ hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ski/snowboard rentals and accessories to guests' accommodations.
• Ensure on-time arrivals and the right equipment for each guest.
• Set clear expectations and communicate service scope with guests.
• Check equipment in and out with hotel front desk coordination.
• Provide equipment support to guests and fellow technicians.
• Pickup equipment after guests' last ski/snowboard day and prepare for next delivery.
• Perform basic ski tuning, waxing, and routine maintenance.

Aspen - The W

The Valet / In House Ski Technician’s shift entailed delivering equipment rentals, offering our support service and checking equipment in and out during the customers stay. This position is based in the Aspen W a 4 star hotel in Apsen. You will be working closely with the Hotel Madeline team to provide seamless service to our and their guests.

The Shifts:

• Full time employees receive 4-5 shifts per week
• Full time is considered a minimum of 32 hours per week.
• The start date for this position is in November 23, 2023

Compensation:

• Full-time Valet/In House Ski Technicians have a base wage of $22 hour.
• Valet / In House Ski Technicians will receive a ski pass on their start date or approximately thereafter.
• 401K benefit and match for ALL staff members over 21 years old

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver ski/snowboard rentals and accessories to our customers’ accommodations, getting the guest excited about their ski trip by focusing on our Key Customer Requirements:
• On Time: Arrive at the agreed upon time.
• Equipment: The right equipment for each customer in great condition.
• Communication: Set clear expectations around the entire scope of service.
• Check equipment in and out of the valet, working directly with the hotel front desk team.
• Provide equipment support to our customers and fellow ski technicians.
• Pickup equipment after our guests last ski/snowboard day.
• Staging orders for future deliveries.
• Basic ski tuning, waxing and general maintenance of our equipment.
• Organization and cleanliness of the shop.
• Answering and making calls to our guests.
• Administrative work.
• Building relationships with the hotel team.
