Responsibilities

Position: Valet Parking Attendant

Location: Downtown Austin

Shift(s): Part-time (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 12pm-6pm)

Pay: $19.50/hr

What you’ll do

• Deliver on our promise by ensuring every moment matters for our clients through prompt resolution of requests and concerns, proactive communication, and problem-solving.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking to ensure safety and note any findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers clearly.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know major streets, landmarks, and freeways for a seamless customer experience.
• Arrive in a clean uniform, on time, and prepared for your shift.
• Remain in uniform throughout your shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What you need

• A valid driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely drive a manual transmission vehicle is a plus.
• Availability for additional shifts if needed (including evenings and weekends).
• Proof of legal work eligibility in the U.S. (provide documentation if hired).
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math with US currency.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt calmly to changes and unexpected situations.

Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb, balance, and lift/move up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
