Job summary

Cornerstone Parking Group, Inc. is seeking a Hospital Valet at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital to deliver courteous patient and visitor service, assist with traffic flow, and uphold professional standards. You will support wheelchairs, doors, directions, and HIPAA compliance in a high-visibility role.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with responsible driving record.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle (strongly preferred).
• Driving and parking vehicles of varying sizes.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Strong desire to serve and care for valet customers.
• Consistently demonstrate courtesy and professionalism with customers and staff.
• High standard of integrity; reliable and responsible.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and jog for extended periods (approximately 95% of shift).
• Able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Able to read, write, comprehend and converse in English.

Overview

The Hospital Valet position is a high profile, customer service position. Individuals must be personable and compassionate, as they serve patients and visitors of Wellstar North Fulton Hospital patient care facilities. Valets must adhere to Cornerstone standards of employee conduct. This position will also assist with traffic control in the drive lane areas.

Shift

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional customer service by greeting and assisting valet customers with opening/closing car doors, providing wheelchairs as needed, providing information and directions, etc.
• Follow damage check procedures for valet vehicles
• Safely and efficiently park and retrieve vehicles from assigned parking areas
• Keep traffic moving and drive lanes/fire lanes clear
• Adherence to HIPAA guidelines
• Report to work on time and for your scheduled shifts. Maintaining an acceptable attendance record as defined by Cornerstone Parking Group is a key component to this position
• Report to work in proper uniform

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older

• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle, strongly preferred
• Driving and parking vehicles of varying sizes
• Minimum one year customer service experience
• Possess a strong desire to serve and care for valet customers
• Consistently demonstrate courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers, colleagues, management and leadership teams, and our client

• Physical demands:
• Able to stand, walk, and jog for extended periods of time (including moving up and down stairs on a regular basis). Being on your feet and moving accounts for approximately 95% of time during shift, depending on parking volume, day of the week, time of day and location
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Able to read, write, comprehend and converse in the English language
