Job summary

Cornerstone Parking Group, Inc. is seeking a Hospital Valet at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. You will greet patients and visitors, assist with doors and mobility aids, and help manage drive-lane traffic with courtesy and care.

The role requires reliability, a customer-service mindset, and adherence to HIPAA. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with opportunities to contribute to a high-profile healthcare service team.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with responsible driving record.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle (strongly preferred).
• Ability to read, write, and converse in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional customer service to valet customers.
• Follow damage check procedures for valet vehicles.
• Safely park and retrieve vehicles in assigned parking areas.
• Keep traffic moving and drive lanes clear.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Report to work on time and maintain attendance per Cornerstone standards.
• Report to work in proper uniform.
• Other responsibilities as needed.

Overview

The Hospital Valet position is a high profile, customer service position. Individuals must be personable and compassionate, as they serve patients and visitors of Wellstar Kennestone Hospital patient care facilities. Valets must adhere to Cornerstone standards of employee conduct. This position will also assist with traffic control in the drive lane areas.

Shift

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional customer service by greeting and assisting valet customers with opening/closing car doors, providing wheelchairs as needed, providing information and directions, etc.
• Follow damage check procedures for valet vehicles.
• Safely and efficiently park and retrieve vehicles from assigned parking areas.
• Keep traffic moving and drive lanes/fire lanes clear.
• Adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
• Report to work on time and for your scheduled shifts. Maintaining an acceptable attendance record as defined by Cornerstone Parking Group is a key component to this position.
• Report to work in proper uniform.
• Other responsibilities as needed.

Benefits

• $13.00/hour + tips. Valets can earn $14-$16.00 per hour with tips. Tips are not a guarantee and will vary.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license, responsible driving record.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle, strongly preferred.
• Driving and parking vehicles of varying sizes.
• Minimum one year customer service experience.
• Possess a strong desire to serve and care for valet customers.
• Consistently demonstrate courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers, colleagues, management and leadership teams, and our client.
• High standard of integrity; reliable, responsible.

• Physical demands

• Able to stand, walk, and jog for extended periods of time (including moving up and down stairs on a regular basis). Being on your feet and moving accounts for approximately 95% of time during shift, depending on parking volume, day of the week, time of day and location.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Able to read, write, comprehend and converse in the English language.
