Description

Cashier responsible for operating a specified parking lot by performing cash transactions and providing excellent customer service. The Cashier ensures proper ticket handling and guest payments while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. The Cashier is responsible for taking payments and assisting guests as they enter or exit the property. The Cashier works closely with fellow team members, Operation Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that cash handling procedures as well as safety standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cash transactions accurately
• Keep cash organized and know your cash on hand
• Sort cash and tickets throughout the day
• Prepare cash control/summary sheets accurately and neatly
• Report overages and shortages
• Plan ahead to have adequate change
• Complete all documents accurately and neatly
• Maintain a neat and organized work environment
• Clean and organize the booth interior and windows
• Ensure lot signage and equipment are clean and vandalism-free
• Pick up garbage and change bags in the parking lot
• Ensure supplies are properly stored
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Secure cash and control sheets when leaving the booth
• Report odd occurrences or suspicious persons
• Punctually punch in/out and adhere to dress code
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Resolve customer complaints efficiently
• Provide courteous customer service
• Greet guests and assist with questions or concerns
• Issue and collect parking tickets
• Reconcile daily receipts and cash
• Perform revenue drops as per procedures
• Keep the work area clean and safe
• Answer phone courteously when required
• Report accidents or safety concerns immediately
• Communicate professionally with guests and team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Verbal communication ability
• Quick learner and sound decision-making in fast-paced environments
• At least 18 years old
• Basic math skills
• Cash handling experience is an asset
• Previous customer service experience preferred
