Job summary

Selig Parking is seeking a part-time Cashier/Valet at Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown. You will greet guests, safely park and retrieve vehicles, and process payments with accuracy in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining neat work areas, assisting with inquiries, and balancing cash at shift end. Prior cash handling and POS experience preferred. On-site role in downtown Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in cashier or customer service, preferably in parking or retail.
• Experience handling cash and using point‑of‑sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and departure.
• Park and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Process parking payments via cash, card, and other methods.
• Record transactions and issue receipts promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized cashier station and valet stand.
• Assist customers with directions and parking information.
• Balance cash drawer and help prepare daily financial reports.
• Ensure safety and security in parking areas.
• Report issues to management as needed.
