Position Summary

The Valet Cashier at The National Hotel is key to the guest experience, providing friendly, efficient service while handling valet transactions. The role demands attention to detail, excellent customer service, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and process valet payments.
• Handle credit card transactions accurately.
• Maintain an organized workstation for smooth operations.
• Coordinate with valet attendants for vehicle retrieval.
• Assist guests with parking, hotel services, and local attractions.
• Address guest concerns professionally.
• Follow security procedures to protect assets.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong English language skills.
• Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent customer service with a professional demeanor.

Physical Demands

• Lift/transport at least 50 pounds.
• Push/pull carts up to 250 pounds.
• Perform various physical movements throughout work areas.
• Stand and move efficiently for up to 8 hours.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.

Required Personal Protective Equipment

• Comfortable, closed-toe, non-skid shoes.
• Clean driving record, age 21 or older, no more than one moving violation in 2 years.
• Pass annual MVR screening.
