Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is seeking a Valet Attendant for The Edition in Miami Beach. This full-time role pays $13.00 per hour plus tips and requires weekday availability across morning and afternoon shifts.

You will greet guests, park vehicles, communicate clearly, and uphold safety standards throughout your shift. Ideal candidates have valet experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive a manual transmission.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience as a Valet Attendant is a MUST.
• License: A valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Skills: Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift) is a strong plus!
• Availability: Flexible schedule to work special shifts as needed, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends.
• Communication: Ability to read, write, and respond professionally to customers and co-workers.
• Math: Basic ability to handle U.S. currency (adding/subtracting) and comprehend instructions or memos.
• Eligibility: Must provide valid documentation to work legally in the U.S. if hired.
• Adaptability: Ability to follow instructions and stay calm during changes, delays, or unexpected events.

Responsibilities

• Guest Experience & Communication
• Proactive Service: Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, finding creative ways to solve any problems that arise.
• Expert Guidance: Maintain a strong knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways to assist guests with directions.
• Transparency: Clearly explain valet rates and procedures to all customers.
• Vehicle Safety & Operations
• Inspection: Carefully inspect every vehicle before parking it, noting and reporting any findings.
• Safe Driving: Strictly observe all traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
• Incident Reporting: Immediately report any accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to management.
• Professional Standards
• Reliability: Arrive on time for every scheduled shift, ready to work.
• Appearance: Maintain a clean, complete uniform for the entire duration of your shift.
• Team Support: Assist management with additional duties as assigned to ensure a smooth operation.
