Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is hiring a Valet Attendant for the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne location. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to drive a manual transmission, and flexible shifts including weekends.

You will ensure guest satisfaction, handle vehicle inspections, and communicate clearly with guests and teammates. Enjoy daily shifts starting at $12 per hour plus tips, with full reimbursement for your Key Biscayne SunPass after 30 days and meals on each shift.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Valet Attendant is required.
• Valid state driver’s license with current address and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and varying shifts.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers and teammates.
• Basic arithmetic to handle currency and follow memos.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with vehicle arrival and departure.
• Resolve guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Know local streets and landmarks to provide directions and guidance.
• Explain valet rates and procedures clearly to customers.
• Inspect vehicles before parking and report any issues.
• Drive safely and obey all traffic laws at all times.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to management.
• Maintain punctuality and a neat uniform throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience & Communication
• Proactive Service: Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, finding creative ways to solve any problems that arise.
• Expert Guidance: Maintain a strong knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways to assist guests with directions.
• Transparency: Clearly explain valet rates and procedures to all customers.
• Vehicle Safety & Operations
• Inspection: Carefully inspect every vehicle before parking it, noting and reporting any findings.
• Safe Driving: Strictly observe all traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
• Incident Reporting: Immediately report any accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to management.
• Professional Standards
• Reliability: Arrive on time for every scheduled shift, ready to work.
• Appearance: Maintain a clean, complete uniform for the entire duration of your shift.
• Team Support: Assist management with additional duties as assigned to ensure a smooth operation.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience as a Valet Attendant is a MUST.
• License: A valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Skills: Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift) is a strong plus!
• Availability: Flexible schedule to work special shifts as needed, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends.
• Communication: Ability to read, write, and respond professionally to customers and co-workers.
• Math: Basic ability to handle U.S. currency (adding/subtracting) and comprehend instructions or memos.
• Eligibility: Must provide valid documentation to work legally in the U.S. if hired.
• Adaptability: Ability to follow instructions and stay calm during changes, delays, or unexpected events.

Physical Demands

• Active Role: Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment for long periods.
• Movement: Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
• Strength: Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
• Safety: Must remain alert and professional while working in a fast‑paced environment.
