About the McGrath Outpatient Pavilion: Located in Hillcrest, the McGrath Outpatient Pavilion is a state-of-the-art, 250,000-square-foot medical facility designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of our region. Spanning six floors, this advanced facility is home to key clinical programs and offers specialized diagnostic, treatment, and surgical services. With a strong emphasis on cancer care, we are committed to delivering world-class medical services in a patient-centered environment.

Description

Under supervision, perform a variety of operations involved in driving and parking vehicles for guests. The duties include and are not limited to maintaining excellent customer service standards; issuing ticket receipts after inspecting and documenting any prior vehicle damage; retrieving vehicles in a timely manner; collecting and securing cash and issuing receipts; writing down vehicle information and location on valet ticket; tagging and maintaining keys; and performing other duties as assigned. Ensure that appropriate service standards are maintained with all front-line staff. Resolve visitor issues to meet service expectations of UC San Diego Health. Perform additional duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must hold valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.
• Relevant experience required.
• Must be able to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Skills, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

• Must be willing to work various times and locations based on business needs.
• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $42,386 - $54,810 (prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $20.30 - $26.25

Factors influencing compensation include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, and certifications. The referenced Hiring Pay Scale is the budgeted salary or hourly range the University expects to pay for this position. The full pay range may be broader based on internal equity, budget, and bargaining agreements (if applicable).
