We seek team members ready to go above and beyond in providing exceptional customer service. The role involves assisting with parking, retrieving guest vehicles, giving directions, luggage assistance, and sharing information about the hotel and San Antonio.

Shift Requirements: Flexibility with morning or evening shifts.

Essential Duties & Functions:

• Contribute positively to the team
• Prepare for guest requests
• Participate in ongoing training
• Comply with standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Maintain attendance as scheduled
• Check guests into the valet application
• Complete duties assigned by supervisor
• Engage with guests to ensure quality service
• Resolve guest and associate issues professionally
• Unload baggage and assist with luggage
• Greet guests and open doors
• Answer questions and provide assistance
• Process charges and secure revenue
• Keep work areas clean
• Be courteous to customers and colleagues
• Report unsafe conditions
• Maintain hotel equipment
• Return customer vehicles promptly
• Promote good customer relations
• Observe safety precautions
• Escort guests and assist with transportation and luggage
• Explain hotel amenities and room features
• Inspect guest rooms for orderliness
• Deliver packages and belongings
• Serve as valet, bellman, or doorman when needed
• Complete errands for hotel departments
• Assist with parking cars beyond scheduled shifts if needed

Physical Requirements:

• Constant walking/running with little sitting
• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
• Pushing/pulling carts up to 100 lbs

Working Environment: Outdoors and indoors with weather exposure

Basics:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization
• Display courteous behavior
• Report unsafe conditions
• Ensure equipment is functional
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Essential skills include effective communication, teamwork, multitasking, patience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Hotel experience, TABC certification, and a valid driver’s license are preferred.
