Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a friendly Valet Attendant to provide first and last impressions for guests. You will welcome arrivals, assist with vehicles, and help with luggage during check-in and check-out, delivering organized, service-oriented support.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced guest-facing environment.
• Strong awareness of safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with multiple departments to support guest experience.
• Minimum age of 19 with preferably 2 years of driving experience.
• Current New Mexico driver’s license with an insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the property and provide assistance in and out of vehicles.
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in accordance with company safety and security procedures.
• Assist guests with luggage during check-in and check-out, ensuring careful handling and professional service.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding hotel outlets, amenities, events and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of ADA parking procedures and all safety and security protocols.
• Communicate and partner with Front Office, Security and other departments as needed to support guest needs.
• Maintain awareness of guest flow and arrival patterns to ensure efficient and organized service.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct in accordance with uniform and grooming standards.
• Ensure the hotel's driveway, porte-cochere, and parking area are kept clean and tidy.
• Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary, client and guest information.
• Other duties as assigned with the functions of this position as needed at the property.
