Job summary

Metro Auto Parks in Los Angeles is seeking a friendly valet to greet guests, assist with luggage when needed, park cars carefully and return vehicles promptly.

The role requires stamina to stand for extended periods, excellent driving and strong customer service skills, plus basic computer and cash handling abilities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Cashiering experience, 1-2 years or more.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.

• Able to calculate and perform basic arithmetic functions in revenue/cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide customer service.
• Park cars, unload luggage when needed, and return vehicles promptly.

• Process revenue transactions by cash or credit card and issue receipts.
• Data entry of valet tickets and related reports.

A great valet has excellent driving skills and good customer service skills.

• Greet and be available to customer for customer service related issues.
• Possess positive customer service skills.

• Accurately process revenue transactions and receive payment by cash or credit card.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.
• Accurate data entry of valet claim ticket data.
• Salesmanship skills are required to sell memberships.
• Ability to prepare necessary accounting reports, cashier shift reports, gas reports, service reports (where applicable) and any other required reports or forms.
• Compliance with company rules, policies and standard operating procedures.
• Able to troubleshoot in a fast paced environment.
