Job summary

LAZ Parking is hiring Healthcare Location Valet Attendants for the Baylor Scott & White Plano location. Join a team that values service, smiles, and a professional demeanor as the first and last impression for clients and visitors.

You'll park and retrieve cars, direct traffic with a friendly attitude, and provide a safe, efficient experience. Paid training and uniforms are provided; vaccinations are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Have a valid 2-year driver license.
• Have required vaccinations (TDAP, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, TB test, flu shot).
• Parking/hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Paid training provided and uniforms supplied.

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve cars promptly and greet customers by name.
• Direct traffic to keep flow of cars organized with a smile.
• Work with or without supervision and maintain a helpful attitude.
• Foster excellent customer relations to promote LAZ Parking.

A LAZ Healthcare Valet Parking Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first person our clients and customers see upon arrival, and the last person our clients & customers see when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance.

What Will I Do?

• Park and retrieve cars like a champ. This means carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Greet all customers by name, take care of their needs, and develop a rapport with each person driving up to your stand.
• Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized, all with a smile on your face!
• Provide a self-reliant attitude when needed. Must be able to work with or without supervision.
• Promote awesome customer relations. Smile, go above and beyond, make them love LAZ Parking the moment they meet you.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old or older
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Have a valid 2-year driver license
• Have required vaccinations
• Parking and/or hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required. (Paid Training)

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
