Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Valet Attendant at Denver Health to deliver compassionate service and a welcoming experience for patients and visitors. You will help with vehicle parking, assist guests with mobility needs, and maintain orderly entrances in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

As a Valet Attendant at Denver Health, you are the face of LAZ Parking. Your friendly personality, empathy, professional appearance, and commitment to outstanding patient and visitor care help create a seamless arrival and departure experience. You will safely park and retrieve vehicles, assist guests with mobility needs or personal items, maintain an organized main entrance, and deliver the respectful service expected in a major healthcare center.

What You'll Do
Patient & Visitor Experience
  • Welcome patients and visitors with warmth, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Greet arrivals promptly to create a comforting and organized first impression.
  • Assist guests in getting in and out of vehicles, including assisting with wheelchairs, walkers, or personal items as needed.
  • Provide clear directions to hospital buildings, clinics, and entrances.
  • Resolve visitor concerns quickly and empathetically while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
Valet & Driveway Operations
  • Safely park and retrieve patient and visitor vehicles in a timely manner.
  • Issue valet tickets and clearly explain the vehicle retrieval process.
  • Securely manage vehicle keys according to strict company protocols.
  • Direct traffic at hospital entrances and maintain organized vehicle flow.
  • Keep entrances clear, safe, and efficient for emergency vehicles and arriving traffic.
  • Support teammates during high-volume periods.
Team & Operational Excellence
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism when working independently or with the team.
  • Follow all safety, security, and hospital environment guidelines.
  • Represent LAZ Parking and Denver Health with integrity, empathy, and care.

Qualifications
Required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • At least two years of driving experience.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred
  • Previous valet, parking, customer service, or hospital/healthcare support experience.
  • Experience driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements

This is an active position requiring the ability to:

  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, wind, and snow.
  • Stand, walk, and run for extended periods throughout a shift.
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, including assisting with wheelchairs or heavy luggage.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, and move frequently.
  • Safely enter and exit a wide variety of customer vehicles.
