VVUSD is now recruiting a new cohort for the VVUSD–Alder GSE Teacher Residency Program. This innovative and affordable pathway offers aspiring educators a direct route to becoming a full‑time teacher in our community.
In just one year, residents earn both a Master’s Degree and a Teaching Credential while gaining hands‑on experience in the classroom. The program combines rigorous coursework led by Alder GSE faculty with a mentorship‑based, co‑teaching model in the TK12 classroom to develop highly effective educators.
Upon completion of the residency, graduates receive priority consideration for full‑time teaching positions within VVUSD schools.
