Job summary

Cinterra, Inc. seeks an experienced Vacuum Truck Operator to drive and operate vacuum trucks for daylighting and trenchless utility work across the Mid-Atlantic, including North Carolina.

You will perform excavation support, ensure safety, complete daily paperwork, and coordinate with teams. A Class A CDL with Tanker is required, with 6 months hydrovac experience; travel and on-call availability expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement is required.
• Minimum 6 months of hydrovac experience; 1 year preferred.
• Experience with vacuum trucks/trailers (Vactor, Vermeer, GAPVAX) preferred.
• Trenching and excavation experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel and be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate vacuum trucks for daylighting and trenchless excavation.
• Support HDD and construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper PPE usage on site.
• Complete required daily paperwork and site documentation.
