Pneumatic/Vacuum Truck Operator - Class A or B CDL

This is a full-time position with the opportunity for overtime.

Job Description:
The Pneumatic/Vacuum Truck Operator will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of the whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulation of equipment and materials and vacuum truck operations.

Responsibilities:
This posting is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities but constitutes a general definition of the position’s scope and function.
  • Drive and operate efficiently and safely all power equipment, and vehicles by DOT laws and regulations, Company and Customer Policies and Procedures on public highways, company, and customer property.
  • Operate and set up all necessary equipment by operation training and guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
  • Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.
  • Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.
  • Drive truck to the destination and operates equipment to load or unload materials.
  • Prepare customer delivery ticket to the product delivered and obtains a customer signature.
  • Keep a record of materials and products transported.
  • Maintains records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, and shipping manifests according to state and federal regulations.
  • Complete daily pre-trip and DVIR.
  • Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
  • Able to read maps and follow written and verbal communication.
Requirements:
  • 1year of commercial driving experience.
  • Must be able to travel for extended periods.
  • Must have a valid Class A or B CDL (commercial driver's license).
  • Must have a Tanker endorsement.
  • Must have NO RESTRICTIONS. Must be capable of driving manual transmission.
  • Must have a clean DOT driving record.
  • Respond to calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, if called upon.
  • Ability to perform duties by training and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
  • Must have a clear personal background.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and medical physical.
