Job summary

Clearsite Industrial, based in Allentown, PA, is seeking a Vacuum Truck Operator to safely operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment at client sites. You will ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines, perform inspections, and maintain equipment while traveling as needed.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, maintaining driver logs, and performing routine maintenance on heavy machinery. CDL required; travel may be overnight.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A/B with tank endorsement is required.
• Experience with OSHA-aligned safety procedures on industrial sites.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform confined space entry.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and travel overnight.

• Operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment and high-pressure pumps at client sites.
• Serve as safety representative, ensuring compliance with safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Inspect surfaces and ensure conformance with specs; perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Load, transport, and unload materials safely; complete pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.

Based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, our team operates a fleet of advanced vacuum hydrovac trucks to deliver safe dig solutions for a variety of industrial and environmental projects. As a Vacuum Truck Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring projects are executed safely and efficiently, while upholding our reputation for quality and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:

• Operate heavy and light industrial cleaning equipment at customer sites, including vacuum and hydroblasting equipment and ultra high-pressure pumps.
• Serve as a safety representative, ensuring compliance with company and customer safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and emergency response procedures.
• Energize and operate pumping, hydroblasting, chemical cleaning, vacuum truck, and cutting equipment used on jobs.
• Inspect cleaned surfaces to confirm conformance with company and customer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment used on the job.
• Perform duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines, and jet rodders.
• Safely load, transport, and unload materials.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain driver logs, and comply with DOT and vehicle policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to operate vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions
• Experience working under OSHA-aligned safety procedures and emergency response procedures on industrial job sites
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to perform confined space entry (CSE)
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• CDL Class A or B with tank endorsement
• Ability to travel with expected overnight travel during the week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating vacuum trucks or similar vacuum excavation/industrial vacuum equipment
• Experience operating tanker trucks or roll-off trucks
• Valid Real ID driver’s license
• Air brake endorsement
• TWIC card
