Job summary

Wind River Environmental seeks an experienced HY VAC operator to drive and maintain vacuum trucks for pumping and bulk hauling to landfills. You will execute dispatch jobs, communicate status to supervision, and complete paperwork with accuracy.

The role requires CDL Class A and prior HY VAC experience, including on-call scheduling. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a support-driven team environment.

• Completion and submission of service paperwork to management.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot job problems and recommend solutions where appropriate.
• Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner.
• Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols.
• Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practice.
• Understand and comply with DOT and DEP regulations as they pertain to your job.
• Protect the environment by having an awareness of spill protection, proper waste acceptance, disposal, and treatment, as well as emergency response procedures.
• Ongoing technical learning and development.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience

• Previous experience operating HY VAC equipment and vehicles


• CDL License (Class A) with at least one year of commercial driving experience


• Provide \"on call\" service on a rotating schedule

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $31.00- $33.00 hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
