Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking an Assembler to build standard and custom vacuum systems using engineering documentation and BOMs. This hands-on role includes mechanical assembly, basic electrical wiring, system testing, and preparing finished products for shipment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for technical training and less than one year of related experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational degree preferred.
• Less than one year of experience in mechanical, electromechanical, manufacturing, or assembly work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on assembly work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble vacuum systems and components according to engineering specifications and drawings.
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including bolting, drilling, tapping, and fitting components.
• Complete basic electrical wiring and component connections.
• Conduct system testing, leak checks, and quality inspections.
• Utilize electrical testing equipment as required.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.
