Job summary

RECONN is hiring for vacuum excavation specialists to join our utility services team. You will travel to assigned sites, perform hydro-excavation tasks, and document work on a company laptop. Training is provided and benefits are included.

The role requires outdoor work in varying weather, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts. CDL may be required for some positions.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Utility/construction experience preferred.
• Available for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Able to travel locally during the business day; some overnight travel may be required.
• DOT medical card possession or ability to obtain.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive role).
• Able to stand/walk long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read tickets and maps; basic math skills.
• Good communication with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform vacuum excavation activities near utilities (hydro-excavation).
• Shovel, core drill, backfill, and construction labor tasks.
• Operate with a company laptop to document projects.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and travel to assigned sites.
