Reconn Utility Services is seeking a Vacuum Excavation Technician to join our field team in Henderson, NV. The role involves traveling to sites to perform vacuum excavation, core drilling, shoveling, and related labor tasks, using a company laptop to document progress.

Training is provided, and overtime may be required in a fast-paced environment. No prior industry experience is required, and candidates must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and pass a drug screen.

• Previous vacuum excavation experience preferred.
• Previous road machine operator or hydro-vac experience preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Proficiency with technology and clear communication required.

We have a great (VAC) Vacuum Excavation Technician opportunity that is focused on exposing utilities for design and excavation purposes.

Vacuum Excavation Technicians are responsible for traveling to an assigned work site to perform vacuum excavation. There are several different names for this type of work including, hydro excavation, potholing, keyholing, and air vac. Vacuum excavation involves soil extraction through vacuum when using pressurized water or air for breaking ground.

This position requires you to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and use a company-provided laptop to document the project. You will perform various vacuum excavation activities near utilities, including core drilling, shoveling, backfilling, and construction labor.

These are daytime, full-time positions, and some overtime may be required. Training will be provided. No industry experience is necessary.

What We Need from You (Our Requirements):

• Previous vacuum excavation experience preferred
• Previous road machine operator or hydro-vac experience preferred
• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Previous outdoor experience is a plus
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bendand stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners. Customer service experience is a plus
• Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position)
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required
