Job Description

We are seeking a Vactor / Vacuum Operator to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). An experienced technician vactor/vacuum operator will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on sewer lines, septic tanks, service lines, wet wells, and pumps using high-power jet and vacuum suction equipment; performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  1. The operator is responsible for vacuuming and cleaning catch basins and drain manholes.
  2. Cleaning sewer and drain pipes with high-pressure water jetting.
  3. Cleaning Sanitary Sewer Systems.
  4. Cleaning Storm Water Systems.
  5. Performing septic system inspections.
  6. Repairing septic tanks, sewer lines, or related structures.
  7. Safely operating a heavy or tractor-trailer truck.
  8. Loading and unloading cargo.
  9. Properly tracking and documenting activity logs.
  10. Reporting any issues or incidents to dispatch.
  11. Inspecting the truck before and after trips.

Qualifications:
