Job summary

Inframark LLC is seeking a field/operator assistant to assist with sewer maintenance tasks and vehicle servicing. The role involves cleaning sewer lines, performing basic maintenance, and coordinating with the Lead Operator to ensure safe operations.

Candidates should be able to work outdoors in various weather, handle traffic control, and participate in on-call rotations. A valid Texas Class C license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Class C driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold or rain.
• Must be able to use basic tools (shovels, squeegees) and operate a pickup truck.
• Good communication skills and a calm demeanor when addressing the public.
• Ability to follow established guidelines and perform repetitious tasks.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and emergency response.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Job description

JOB FUNCTION/ PURPOSE

• Clean sewer stoppages and flush sewer lines.
• Responsible for the cleaning, preventive maintenance, and servicing of vehicle.
• Maintains effective communications with the Lead Operator.
• Perform work under the direction of the Operator.
• Perform traffic control as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work overtime as required to complete assigned tasks
• Participate in on-call rotation schedule as required to perform the duties of the position.

Mandatory Requirements

• Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices and procedures.
• Able to perform work in an outdoor environment (heat, cold rain).
• Ability to use of tools and equipment required in job activities (shovels, squeegees)
• To perform this job successfully, the person in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must have good communication skills; requires a calm demeanor in responding to customer questions/and or complaints and dealing with the public in everyday activities.
• Ability to work within established guidelines.
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks.
• Ability to use and operate pick-up truck and miscellaneous power tools.
• Participate as first responders in emergency situations (tropical storms, hurricanes, and tornados.)
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Class C Texas State Driver's License and safe driving record.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds
• Able to climb ladders and stairways
• Able to pass fit-test for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
• Must be able to access confined spaces
