Job summary

MSD is seeking a Senior Specialist in Vaccines Technology Operations at the Wilson, NC site. This role focuses on technical leadership for vaccine manufacturing, including validation, batch records, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience with 2+ years in validation or technical process support to pharmaceutical operations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills with inclusive leadership and collaboration.
• Knowledge of cGMPs and regulatory requirements in vaccine/pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership/support to primary filling, inspection, and packaging operations.
• Own and validate changes in Manufacturing Execution System batch records (Veeva Vault) and support business needs.
• Prepare and review quality deviation investigations and CAPAs.
• Collaborate across Operations, Quality, Automation, and Plant Engineering to deliver IPT projects.
• Support regulatory inspections and maintain robust validation/qualification documentation.
