Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Medical Director to lead policy methodology and strategic reviews for vaccine policy discussions in the US. The role reports to the US Medical Affairs Internal and External Policy Lead and focuses on data generation plans, medical plans, and long-range forecasting for vaccine assets.

The incumbent will supervise GRADE analyses, interlock cross-functional policy streams, and collaborate with asset leads to optimize policy discussions with ACIP and medical societies.

Qualifications

• MD required with minimum of 4 years professional experience.
• Expertise in vaccines and vaccine policy development, GRADE, EtR frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific data clearly to medical and non-medical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pfizer's primary contact for CDC/ACIP and medical societies on vaccine policy.
• Lead cross-functional policy strategy for data generation and forecasting for vaccine assets.
• Oversee internal GRADE analyses and EtRs for US vaccine assets.
• Collaborate with asset leads to develop data generation plans for GRADE/ETR integration.
• Support external engagements and policy discussions including advisory boards.
