Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Medical Director, US Medical Affairs Policy Methodologist to lead methodological reviews and policy analysis for inline and pipeline vaccine assets discussed by ACIP and medical societies. The role reports to the US Medical Affairs Policy Group Lead and focuses on data generation plans and policy strategies for vaccine assets.

Qualifications

• MD required with minimum of 4 years professional experience.
• Expertise in vaccines with recent expertise in vaccine policy development, GRADE, and CDC ACIP.
• Experience in pharma not required but helpful.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pfizer's primary contact for CDC, ACIP, and Vaccine Integrity Project.
• Serve as primary Pfizer contact for Medical Societies on vaccine policy issues.
• Coordinate with Global Vaccine Policy Lead to align priorities and resources.
• Develop cohesive strategic and operational plans to optimize vaccine recommendations.
• Anticipate policy questions and perform internal GRADE analyses for vaccine assets.
• Collaborate with asset leads to generate data generation plans for GRADE and EtR.
• Support external engagements including advisory boards with policy discussions.
• Collaborate with Global Access and Value teams on CE models and preference studies.
• Ensure US medical plans support ACIP policies and long-term objectives.
• Assist Chairs of cross-functional Medical Policy Strategy Teams in setting goals.
• Support US cross-functional strategic plans, forecasts, and BD plans for inline assets.
